Abstract:
The aim of this paper is to discuss the place of the Fulfulde language in nomadic education. Much has been said abut the positive effects of teaching students most especially at primary school levels in their mother tongues, but very little has done about it. This paper looks at Nomads (Fulbes) and Nomadic Education Programme in Nigeria, the importance of language in educational development and the role of Fulfulde in actualizing the aims and objectives of Nomadic Education Programme in Nigeria.
